Australian Passport Information

We provide passport services to Australians in Japan at the Australian Embassy and Consulates located in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka and Sapporo. You can find information on how to complete and lodge your application for an Australian passport in Japan below.

Under our Client Service Charter, we aim to issue passports within 10 working days (excluding delivery). Priority processing service is not available in Japan. Please read all instructions carefully as incorrectly completed applications will cause delays.
